Tatvic servers have access to only OAuth tokens i.e. access tokens & refresh tokens from Google analytics. Tatvic servers doesn’t store any google analytics data for their client.

Tatvic Plugins Privacy Policy

Things you should know about Google Analytics

According to Google Analytics terms of service (TOS), Analytics customers are prohibited from sending personal information to Google. you can visit Google Analytics Privacy Policy to check in which condition your data is been shared by Google.

By default, Tatvic Applications doesn’t send this type of data to Google. If you customized the plugin or have extended its functionality to send any kind of personal information you should be aware that you are subject to account termination or data deletion. Personally identifiable information (PII) includes and is not limited to: names, social security numbers, email addresses, data that permanently identifies a particular device (such as a mobile phone’s unique device identifier if such an identifier cannot be reset), or similar data.Regarding IP addresses, Google Analytics reports neither include nor display such information.

Data Privacy features in Tatvic Applications

We serves with some Applications which uses some Plugin users information when plugins users agrees to terms for the respective tools and gives permission to use the data.

In the following paragraphs we’ll describe features that are available on our Applications and which are related to data privacy.

The IP anonymization feature

While Google Analytics is not revealing IP addresses on reports, this doesn’t mean the IPs are anonymized by default.

Tatvic Applications provides such a feature, which you should enable from the Settings.

The User Opt-Out feature

The latest version of Tatvic Applications provides full support for user opt-out. To use this feature just Enable it from the settings.

Once it enabled, a special script will be inserted above the tracking code. Afterwards, to allow users to opt-out, you can create a link as:

Other Features in Tatvic Applications

The USER ID feature (Only For the Premium Applications)

While Google Analytics is not collecting personal information but it provides feature, USER ID which identify your user’s engagement data from one or more sessions initiated from one or more devices.

Tatvic Applications provides such a feature, which you should be enabled or disable as per your requirements from the Settings. Our Applications will not send USER ID in Custom Dimensions, it’s just for tracking registered users journey. Our Applications control that the user IDs are alphanumeric database identifiers, and not data written in plain text such as emails, usernames etc.

The Client ID cookie feature (Only For the Premium Applications)

While Google Analytics is not collecting personal information but it has a clientID which identify two distinct hits belong to the same user.

Our Application will fetch that client id in custom dimension. It’s an optional feature & you need to enable it first. But It’s our recommendation to update your privacy policy with the concent screen to get the client id of the visitors.

Data Storage:

Email ID of Plugin Users:

While activating Tatvic Applications, it will ask for the Email ID of the plugin user (not the vistiors of the website) for the following purposes:

  • to provide you with the goods or services you have ordered
  • to contact you if required in connection with your order or to respond to any communications you might send to us
  • to send you updates of our latest updates & service offering

Note: Tatvic Applications will not collect any personal information of your website visitors.If you no longer want us to use your Email or to provide you with the services, you can request that we erase your Email ID.

Admin, Google Analytics & FTP access for data verification & to troubleshoot the issue:

When you contact us for the query sometimes we are asking for the access of the Admin panel, Google Analytics & FTP (in rare cases) to troubleshoot the issue with your concern.

By that, we are not storing, fetching, manipulating or Sharing the user’s confidential data to the 3rd Party or not even our server from Admin, Google Analytics or FTP. We are asking the access only to troubleshoot the issue.

GA Authentication:

Tatvic servers have access to only OAuth tokens i.e. access tokens & refresh tokens from Google analytics using native Google APIs for OAuth2 authentication method. Tatvic servers doesn’t store any google analytics data for their client.
